Sajid Hasan is the Chief Product Officer of BYD Australia. If there is anyone in Australia that knows more about BYD than me then it is this guy right here!
He gets to pick and choose which BYD vehicles make it here in Australia, so in this interview I discuss the spec options of some of the more recent releases as well as whether we might see some of the ones testing on the roads anytime soon!

Sajid was previously with Toyota Motor Corporation Australia for 16 years, joining as product planning manager in commercial vehicles and later on was promoted to product planning manager for Toyota passenger cars and Lexus vehicles.
Sajid joined BYD Australia towards the end of 2024 to oversee their product portfolio in Australia.
In this episode we discuss the new Denza B5 and Denza B8 and the added towing capability they will offer on the current BYD Shark 6. We also discuss the prospect of the newly revamped BYD Atto 3 in China coming to Australia and when that might occur. And we also discuss what other vehicles may be headed to Australia based on the camouflaged vehicles we have seen on our roads.
