My name is David Crockett. I am a sales professional in Australia with a passion for video editing, content creation, and the future of automotive technology.

My journey started in April 2024, when—after months of careful research—I purchased a brand new BYD Seal Premium. It was a decision that changed my perspective on driving forever. I fell in love with the technology, the value, and the engineering that established brands simply weren't offering.

But as I dove deeper into the world of electric mobility, I realised something: The revolution isn't just about one brand.

The Australian market is currently witnessing a tidal wave of innovation. New players like Zeekr, Xpeng, Deepal, GAC, and Leapmotor are landing on our shores, bringing with them "New Energy" technologies (EVs, PHEVs, and EREVs) that challenge everything we know about cars.

That is why "Beyond EV" is evolving.

Originally founded to help BYD owners, my mission has grown. Beyond EV is now dedicated to guiding Australian consumers through the entire New Energy Vehicle (NEV) landscape.

My Mission: To demystify the technology behind these next-generation vehicles and help you make the right choice.
